Commemorative badge for West Lancs Beaveree event to be held on 24 June 2000. At the event the bottom half of the badge will be issued, to form a large circlular badge. Theme is peace - Badge shows dove of peace. Its our 50 year anniversary. This badge was designed by a cub. Worn by members of the county to celebrate 50 years of scouting.

This badge commemorates the visit of the Chief Scout to our Area in June 1999. The peacock is a bird seen commonly in the grounds of Scone Palace, where the visit was held. Scone Palace was once the coronation site of the ancient kings of Scotland. Some badges are still available to buy. The attached picture is of a souvenir Badge for Polish Partners '98.
