Photo of the Month - November 1996

This months entry came from Colin Moss (SL 107th (Merchiston) Edinburgh) whose wife is the AAC Beavers for Edinburgh. He describes the event as follows:

The photograph shows Beavers taking part in this summer's Beaver Celebration held in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh. With a free go on the roundabout in the funfair, free ice-cream, a fire simulation from the Fire Brigade, clowns, pipe bands and dancers it was an excellent day.

Over 800 Beavers took part and one small Beaver was heard to remark, as his Colony entered Princes Street Gardens "Is this all the Beavers in the whole world?" Maybe not, but they all thought the world of the event.
