ScoutNet UK offers Scouters around the world a simple to use, yet extremely powerful, insight to Scouting on the Net.
If you are new to "The Net", then this may all seem very daunting! If you are reading this now then you have done all the hard work and can sit back and browse.
At the top of most pages on ScoutNet UK you'll see this:
By clicking on any of the main icons next to the ScoutNet UK logo, you can be whisked straight to another part of the site. will return you to the home page, will take you to the index and will bring you to this help page!
Around the pages you will see words or sentences which will be highlighted and underlined - these are called "links" and clicking on these with your left mouse button will take you to them. Eg:
You will have noticed that the link has now changed colour. This is now called a "Visited Link" because you have visited the link!
If you ever get lost around ScoutNet UK, at the bottom of nearly every
page is an option to bring you back to the ScoutNet UK Home Page. Eg:
You can click the "house" image to be broght back "home" to the ScoutNet UK Home Page or click the arrows to go quickly back to the top of the page
