Photo of the Month - July 2002

A similar photograph from John Hunt has been a Photo of the Month back in August 2001. I have kept this one on file since November. This photo was also taken at the Mational Sea Scout Rowing and Canoeing Regatta held at Kingston on Thames. Here is John's description of the photo:

This is a picture of the winning crew in the gig pulling under 16s. It is of the Cuddington Sea Scouts from Worcester Park in Surrey. They also have a water based headquarters at Thames Ditton. Apart from the expressions of effort on the faces of the rowers, the element I like about photographing this group is that they look like a team with their group sweatshirts. It makes such a difference against being in a rag bag of assorted tops.
